One other hole as at the top of the unit, into which other Zolo pieces can be plugged. By adding non-balancing pieces to this you can alter the movement of the sculpture greatly - it will swing around in a weird way and drastically alter its perambulation. This set can be used with pieces from other Zolo sets. |

However, you can't stack huge amounts of pieces onto the motorised unit - they tend to fall off! The motorised peg holes are designed to slip if your sculpture gets stuck, which stops the motor burning out. |

The motor isn't the strongest I have come across - plug too much into the motor unit, and they will fall off, or it won't move. Anyway, it's a pretty good addition to the range. Motorised Zolo is a recently new addition to the Zolo range - it adds battery-powered movement to your Zolo sculptures. There is a motorised base unit with three peg holes that take special pieces that act like legs and pull your sculpture along in a kind of peculiar rocking movement. So, given a carpeted floor (it needs a carpeted floor for traction). |
